Eight Daily Declarations To Make Over Your  Child

Prayer

It is written that "you will also declare a thing, and it will be established for you; so light will shine on your ways." (Job 22:28)

In the same way that David defeated Goliath with a carefully chosen stone after making some declarations, you too can speak God's promises into your child's life, fend off the enemy, and foster an environment for the Lord to fulfill His plan for your child's life.

(1 Samuel 17).

I have divided these declarations into eight days to encourage you to intentionally speak life over your child through the week.  And as the Holy Spirit whispers to you, you can add more.

In order to fully reap the benefits of these declarations, it is imperative that you have a personal relationship with the Father through His Son, Jesus Christ.

Below is a prayer that you can pray to start your relationship with Him:

"Heavenly Father, I confess my need for a Savior and come before you today with a contrite heart. I believe that you sent your son, Jesus Christ, to die for my sins and raised Him up again.  Thank you for forgiving me of all my sins.  Today, I surrender my life to you.  Be the Lord of my life now and forever.  Thank you, Lord, for saving me.  I believe that I am now a child of God. In Jesus name, Amen.

Welcome to the family of God!  Now go ahead and position your child for blessings and greatness before your covenant-keeping God, Father, and King.

DAY ONE

Father, thank you because your word is true. Thank you because you have not given us a spirit of fear and timidity but of power, love, and self-discipline. Therefore, in the Name of Jesus, I believe in my heart that the Word of God prevails over my family.  I believe that children are love gifts from you; they are heaven's generous reward and legacy. As a result, I consider myself blessed both now and in my old age. I declare that I will only experience victory when we face our enemies. (Child's name) will have influence and honor to prevail in Jesus name. Amen.

 (Psa 127:3-5; 2 Ti 1:7)

DAY TWO

Father, you said in your Word that You will pour out Your Spirit upon my offspring and your blessing upon my children. I declare that (name of child) will grow up to be like prairie grass and creekside willows.

I declare that (child's name) will sprout like grass on the prairie and like willows alongside creeks. He/she  will not be ashamed to say, "I belong to the Lord." Thank you for contending with my opponent and saving (child's name) in Jesus name. Amen.

(Isa 49:25)

DAY THREE

Father, I declare that (child's name) is intelligent and wise.  He/she listens, accepts, and is  the fruit of godly instruction and correction. Because I love (child's name), I am diligent to discipline him/her early and appropriately with love and wisdom. I point (child's name) in the direction he/she should go according to your will for his/her abilities and talent.  And when they are old, they will not stray from that good path.

 (Prov 13:1, 24; 22:6;)

DAY FOUR

Because (child's name) is a disciple of the Lord, adhering to discipline and instructions,   godly and skillful wisdom are being imparted to his/her life. His/her well-being and success will be great. (Isa 54:13)

DAY FIVE

I believe that (child's name) is blessed when he/she comes in and when he goes out; because you, Lord, give Your angels special charge over him to accompany, defend, and preserve him in all his/her ways. (Child's name) finds favor, good understanding, and high esteem in Your sight and the sight of man. (Deut. 28:6; Psa. 91:11-12)

DAY SIX

Thank you, Father, for being (child's name) hiding place, shielding him/her from harm and surrounding him/her with songs of victory (Psa 32:7)

DAY SEVEN

No weapon formed against (child's name) shall prosper. I silence every voice raised in accusation against him/her. Thank you, Father, for vindicating him/her and for providing us with this heavenly protection.

(Isa 54:17)

DAY EIGHT

Thank you, Father, that (child's name) sleeps soundly at night and wakes up refreshed each day because you give him/her good sleep and keep him/her safe.

(Psa 4:8).
